International investors acknowledge economic successes of Belarus

A Belarusian delegation took part in the investment forum VTB Capital RUSSIA CALLING: London Session that was held in London on 22-24 May, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus. The delegation included First Deputy Finance Minister of Belarus Vladimir Amarin, Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Golukhov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Bank Taras Nadolny and First Deputy Chairman of the Office of the Council of Ministers Alexander Zaborovsky.
The Belarusian delegation held a number of business meetings and talks with chiefs of leading international investment companies, and discussed the state and prospects of the Belarusian economy. The international investment community acknowledged considerable progress in stabilizing Belarusian economy and emphasized the efficiency of Belarus’ risk management policy. The macroeconomic program of the Belarusian government and plans to hold institutional reforms were also hailed by international experts.
